Good morning, Reader.
I think one of the best habits we can build to live a more intentional life is reflection.
Long ago, I built a habit of reflecting on my personal and professional priorities, and this habit became the foundation for the Professional Careers by Design Model(TM) that underpins much of my work. Lots of good has come out of this habit, for me and the professionals I coach.
This newsletter has helped me create another reflection habit that I have come to love. At the end of each month, I pause to reflect on what I've learned through the ups and downs of life. And each quarter, I share them with you.
Sometimes the takeaways are mundane and silly ("wear socks when you are cold" is a perennial favorite. And it may be the most useful piece of advice I have ever imparted!)
And sometimes, they are deeply personal and deeply meaningful. Such as some of my latest takeaways. I've shared them in my latest blog post.

I won't drop any spoilers (you'll have to read the post for all of them), but I will say this: Experience is our best teacher, and I continue to learn — over and over in this challenging and wonderful life — that my professional life needs to allow for alignment with my personal priorities.
I'm grateful for all of it, and grateful for the opportunity to share with you.
